Finding a Place

One day before you finished the school year, Mlanie and I drove to Boston with Wesley to check our places for me to stay in Boston.

There were some beautiful historic homes owned by some very nice people.

But the one that felt the best was Hanni's. It has it's own woods in the back, and a stone fireplace and a grand piano. Hanni's husband Stanley designed it after World War II.

It even has a tree house next door.

And it did NOT have a kitchen like this:

I feel so blessed to have found such a great place to stay with such a kind and caring woman.

Moving In

I didn't get many pictures last weekend, but we managed to have a productive last-minute trip to Boston. You guys went to Microsoft with Sterling, Lincoln, and Quincy while I sat in on Julie's book club after a late arrival in Belmont. We learned that the Crocketts are very late-night people compared to us.

In the morning you hung out with the Crocketts while Dad and I went to the temple and dropped off a bunch of my stuff at Hanni's house. Then we took the bus and the train to the science center where you guys built some fantastic clamp things and trampolines.

Gavin's came in first for bouncing the golf ball the highest.

We even saw a lightning show. Soon it was time to take the train to meet Joey (after we tracked down Gavin's missing backpack). We rode all the way home with her while Dad went to girls' camp in New Hampshire.

How nice it was to be able to do so many fun things while we were getting me moved into my Boston place!

Meeting Hanni

While Dad was in Peru we took went to Boston where you both met Hanni. She showed you her beautiful house, servedus some tasty cookies, and introduced us to her friend who was visiting for the reception for her husbandStanley's architectural designs. We tried out the new bed in myroom. It was comfy.

Before we left Hanni and her friend gave us a little concert:

Then we took a tour of campus. We walked the maze path.

We visited the Hogwarts library.

We saw a cool model of a cathedral

And a prayer plaque on the wall that I liked.

Outside again one of you begged me to take a picture if this statue that reminded you of the eagle monument in Salt Lake City.

Here you are in front of my building.

It was a fun trip!
